Ticket sales for the European Para Championships (EPC) have started! Visit this unique top sports event in which the best athletes from ten Paralympic sports compete for the European titles. Read on to find out where to buy tickets for this event from 8 to 20 August 2023.
A day ticket, which allows you to visit all sports in Rotterdam Ahoy, costs € 7.50. The outdoor locations and the city centre courts in the heart of Rotterdam are open to the public free of charge.
Tournament director Jeroen Straathof: "This is a unique event that is being organized for the first time in Europe. With Ahoy as the main location, but also various centre courts in the centre of Rotterdam, we bring the sport to the people. By jointly organizing ten European championships we can offer a top sports platform to multiple sports, so I invite everyone to come and support these great athletes next summer."
Did you get a day ticket of €7.50? This gives you access to all sports in Ahoy, based on availability. You can indicate your preference for the sport you most want to see when purchasing your ticket. The competitions on the outdoor locations and city centre courts, such as the boccia and wheelchair tennis finals on the Schouwburgplein and the para archery finals on the Kop van Zuid, are free for spectators.
No fewer than ten parasports are covered during the European Para Championships. We will see exciting competitions in the sports of para cycling, para archery, para badminton, wheelchair tennis, boccia, goalball, wheelchair basketball, para judo, shooting para sport and para taekwondo.
In addition to the battle for the European title, a number of sports are also competing for qualification points in the run-up to the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. The event will become a regular part of the parasport calendar, returning every four years in a major European city.
