Website design fair OBJECT in Rotterdam Centre
From February 14 to 16, 2025 it is time again for the OBJECT design fair! This edition marks the first time the annual design festival will take place in the heart of Rotterdam. The new location? AIR, the iconic former V&D building, right next to the famous Koopgoot.
Visitors can take a look at various office floors of the prominent building, which is being opened especially for the occasion.
OBJECT is known for its dynamic character and unique, surprising locations. After several years in the monumental HAKA building, OBJECT will move to Rotterdam Centre in 2025. The new location, AIR, offers almost 10,000 square meters of light, transparent exhibition space, with a view of the city centre.
During the upcoming edition, OBJECT will once again present a varied offering: local talents take centre stage, but designers from other European cities, Asia and the African continent are also represented. In February, more than 100 designers will show their latest creations, available for viewing and purchase.
AIR is located in the shopping heart of Rotterdam, surrounded by iconic buildings such as the WTC and the Markthal. In this central location, a stone's throw from the Koopgoot, this edition OBJECT bridges the gap between Rotterdam's creative community and the shopping public. "The centre is an exciting place where an incredible amount happens and many different people come together. That energy and diversity suits our DNA, OBJECT never stands still," says director Anne van der Zwaag.
During the weekend there will be a side programme with lectures, interviews and special presentations at design hubs in the immediate area.
