With Eid al-Fitr approaching, the last days of Ramadan are in sight. To honour this, the city centre will organize spectacular performances at various locations this weekend, together with House of Urban Arts.
Because of Ramadan and the approaching Eid al-Fitr, visitors are treated to festive performances by talented Arab artists as well as to Halal delicacies. The wrapped gift with sweets can be kept to enjoy until Iftar or Eid al-Fitr.
The festive performances will take place on Friday, April 5 from 6:45 PM and on Sunday, April 7 from 12:30 PM. The locations of the performances include Beursplein, Korte Lijnbaan, Lijnbaan, Koopgoot, Kruiskade and Central Plaza. Curious about what kind of performances await you? The offer is diverse! From festive music and dance to Spoken Word, all with an educational approach. Be surprised by the artists of House of Urban Arts.
Earlier in the Ramadan period, an Iftar for all employees of the Koopgoot took place at the initiative of Munie&Co, with Jumbo as a proud local sponsor.
Initiator Omar van Munie & Co: "We look forward to organizing more initiatives in the future and strengthening the experience of Ramadan in the retail sector, with an emphasis on promoting the sense of 'community', connection and creating a welcoming environment for all customers and employees.”
