It's time to explore the best Christmas markets in Rotterdam! For example, come to The Maker Market in the Groot Handelsgebouw on 14 and 15 December, for live music, snacks and of course handmade items.
Would you rather enjoy the winter temperatures outside? Then come to Trompenburg on 6, 7 and 8 December, for a green Christmas market. Expect all kinds of products that have to do with green, but also nice Christmas gifts from local entrepreneurs such as handmade candles, artisanal chocolate and Christmas loaves, the most beautiful ceramics and zero-waste care products.

On Wednesday 11 December, the cozy outdoor cinema Winter Film Fest will take place at Museumpark. Expect a lot of coziness, winter Christmas lights, warm blankets, heaters, tasty snacks and drinks and of course a Christmas movie!
The proceeds of this event will go to a great cause this year: Stichting Jarige Job. This foundation helps children in the Netherlands who cannot celebrate their birthday due to financial circumstances.
On Saturday 14 December, the Rotterdam Memory Walk will take place. An event with a beautiful goal: walking against dementia. With this walk, money is raised for dementia research at the Erasmus MC. By walking along, you support important research into dementia at the Erasmus MC.
What can you expect? Together with the other walkers, you start at Plein 1940 at 18:30. This walk of approximately 7 km takes you past various iconic sights of Rotterdam, where the beautiful Christmas lights provide an extra beautiful picture.
The annual Bruggenloop is back! On Sunday 8 December, countless Rotterdam sports enthusiasts will once again be at the start of this famous running competition. With the classic 15 km course, you will run over the famous bridges of the city, including of course the Erasmus Bridge.

A silent disco on skates! On December 14, the Rotterdam Ice Rink will transform into the best party in town. From 19:00, lace up your skates and put on your headphones to enjoy the best hits. Singing, dancing and skating; will you be there?
