From Friday December 20 to Tuesday December 24, Beursplein will transform into Winterplein, the ultimate winter meeting place. In this article you can read what kind of activities you can expect!
There is plenty to do on Winterplein. Let yourself be carried away by the (live) music and get into the party mood. Visit one of the food trucks for winter snacks and hot drinks. Try the onigiri from SHIN, enjoy the hot dogs and snacks from Hans Worst, and treat yourself to the Indonesian snacks of Miko. Warm up with a cup of coffee from Served or a hot cup of chocolate milk from HEMA. Be sure not to miss out on the crumble dessert from Belicio Cheats!
Stroll along the stalls and find special gifts and surprises for under the Christmas tree. For example, get perfume at Same Parfumerie or jewellerry at Glennies. And to complete the experience, Winterplein is decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations. There is even a selfie spot! Perfect to capture the beautiful memories.
There is a fun Christmas vibe on Winterplein with music playing through the speakers and live from the cosy Christmas house. On Fridays, DJ Mo will provide wonderful music from behind the turntables from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The gospel choir ADEM Project with Pearl Joan is highly recommended. ADEM is a collaboration of millennial musicians who create new church and worship music specifically aimed at their generation. They will be there on Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Beursplein and from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Koopgoot.
On Sunday you can enjoy the violin music by Nigel Menting. He will be at Beursplein from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and in the Koopgoot from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. A special experience you don't want to miss!
Have you seen it on our socials yet? Our Rotterdam Santa Claus previously handed out our customized gift wrapping paper for free in the centre. Did you miss it? Not a problem, because on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 December he will be handing out gift wrapping paper again at Winterplein between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

The Winterplein can be visited from Friday December 20 to Monday December 23 from 12:00 to 20:00 PM. On Tuesday, December 24, Winterplein is open from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. The location is on the Beursplein.
An empty storefront in the Koopgoot will be transformed into the Kids Corner during the Christmas holidays, in collaboration with the Rotterdam brand Little Dutch. While the children have fun and enjoy hot chocolate in the Kids Corner, you can have your gifts wrapped for free.
Fan of Frozen? Then put this in your agenda: on Mondays and Tuesdays you will meet Elsa and Olaf in the Kids Corner!
