From 3 to 5 June it's time for the Rotterdamse Dakendagen (Rotterdam Rooftop Days)! During this pleasant weekend you can visit more than 35 roofs. Read more about this weekend below and discover Rotterdam from a unique perspective!
During the Rotterdamse Dakendagen there are various Rooftop Routes, Specials and Tours to follow. Go on a journey of discovery during a Rooftop Route, where you will encounter surprising festival programs on every roof, such as art or surprising ways to use roofs.
Would you like to learn more about the rooftops and the surroundings of the locations? Then a Tour is the way to go for you. Accompanied by a guide, you go on a cycling or walking tour and discover the stories behind the roofs. One of the tours that you can follow is, for example, 'Centre Secrets'. During this tour you will discover hidden roofs in Rotterdam Centre.
A Rotterdam Rooftop Days Special is a special event on a roof. For example, do you love yoga? Then follow one of the yoga classes on the roof of the Depot Boijmans van Beuningen, a great collaboration between Yogaground and Boijmans van Beuningen.

This year there will be a large, one-off rooftop event. Rotterdamse Dakendagen organizes the 'Rotterdam Rooftop Walk', a route on the roofs of Rotterdam including a spectacular air bridge between WTC Rotterdam and the Bijenkorf.
You can visit this event from May 26 to June 24, 2022. The design is a collaboration between the Rotterdamse Dakendagen and the architectural firm MVRDV. Read more about this spectacular sky bridge here!

The annual International Rooftop Knowledge Day takes place on 3 June. The day program consists of three distinctive parts that can be followed both physically and online.
In the morning the programme will start with the Rotterdam Rooftop Walk. In the afternoon the participants go to one of the lunch workshops on various roofs in the city centre and in the afternoon there are sessions at Het Podium at the Nieuwe Instituut.
The International Rooftop Knowledge Day ends with networking, so that the participants can get to know each other better on a special rooftop location.
Tickets for the regular program are already sold out, but there are still tickets available for the online program.
Luchtpark Hofbogen is the festival heart of Rotterdamse Dakendagen. Here you can enjoy the festival atmosphere all weekend long with live music, food, drinks and of course a beautiful view. Or take part in one of the many activities, such as salsa dancing or a roof consultation with the Municipality of Rotterdam.
The main entrance can be found via the stairs on Heer Bokelweg, second entrance via Luchtsingel. Entrance is free!
