Recently a new hotspot opened up in Rotterdam: the Heart Melt Bar! This trendy cocktail bar, located on William Boothlaan, promises to melt hearts with its unique mix of innovative cocktails and tropical snacks.
Heart Melt Bar has been running a sneak preview for a while to perfect everything down to the last detail. The official opening took place on Thursday, July 4 and it was a festive event. With performances by Rotterdam DJs, cocktails from well-known bartenders and homemade tropical snacks, the new hotspot opened with great enthusiasm.
The new cocktail bar is an initiative of Robertino Goncalves and Abdelhak Badrane, the entrepreneurs behind the successful Spikizi Bar. After six years they thought it was time for a new challenge. “At Spikizi we always say to our staff when they do or think of something cool: 'Wow, you melt my heart,'” says Robertino. The name for the new bar was therefore quickly found. With Heart Melt Bar they want to create that WOW effect for their guests.
The bar is distinguished by its extensive cocktail menu and tropical bites, both perfectly matched. Under the bar there is a 'lab' where unique ingredients for the cocktails and bites are developed. Chef Manny, for example, makes delicious snacks such as cod balls, cassava fries and pulled beef jerk.
Both the bites and the cocktails are enriched with aphrodisiacs such as honey, basil and ginger. These aphrodisiac ingredients stimulate the guests' senses and add an extra dimension to the experience.
