Autumn has arrived again! The leaves flutter to the ground, the shops look beautiful with lights and Christmas decorations. It is great fun to shop in the centre of Rotterdam during this period. Below you will find an overview of the adjusted opening hours in the autumn and during the Christmas period!

Black Friday in Rotterdam Centre

November 29 is Black Friday, the day to score the best deals in Rotterdam Centre. This year, Black Friday takes place on Friday, November 29. Then you can shop in the city until 10:00 PM, because most shops are open longer!

Extra shopping evenings and opening hours during the Christmas period

In addition, there are extra shopping evenings and adjusted opening hours during the Christmas period. Check them out below:

  • Saturday December 21: open until 9:00 PM (extra shopping evening)
  • Sunday December 22: open until 9:00 PM (extra shopping evening)
  • Monday December 23: open until 9:00 PM (extra shopping evening)
  • Tuesday December 24: open until 6:00 PM (Christmas Eve)
  • Wednesday December 25: closed (Christmas Day)
  • Thursday December 25: open until 6:00 PM (Boxing Day)
  • Tuesday December 31: open until 6:00 PM (New Year's Eve)
  • Wednesday January 1: closed (New Year's Day)
