The Maker Market is a platform that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and independent makers. With its roots in Amsterdam, it offers a unique shopping experience by bringing together a diverse range of makers and their (handmade) products. After six successful years, the creators of the concept finally thought it was time for an edition in Rotterdam. This expansion marks an important step in their journey to connect with local communities and celebrate the art of making.
Siem Meijerink and Floor Wintgens, the driving forces behind The Maker Store, can't wait to surprise Rotterdam. And they share that enthusiasm with all makers, who introduce Rotterdam to a colourful collection of unique, handmade products.
The handmade products are designed and produced with love and craftsmanship by young and innovative makers from all over the world.
For its first edition in Rotterdam, The Maker Market presents a carefully curated selection of small, creative makers in all kinds of fields. Think arts, crafts, jewelry, clothing and much more. Local talent comes together with makers from all over the Netherlands, making this market an ideal destination to score unique Christmas gifts.
Not only is it the ideal opportunity to fill the space under the Christmas tree, it is also an fun outing during the Christmas holidays, and completely free. It will be a festive market with good food, drinks, music and games. This event is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere, discover special gifts and enjoy a day full of fun.
Will we see you there?
