Vintage shops in Rotterdam

Interieur Rejoes Rotterdam

To look stylish, you don't have to spend a lot of money or buy everything new. Fortunately, more people think this way and more and more fantastic vintage shops are opening in Rotterdam. In this article you will find a handy list of vintage stores where you can score the most beautiful gems!

Kilo Kilo

Frontrunner Sil wrote about it when the store just opened in Rotterdam Centre:

"Like many other vintage and second-hand stores, Kilo Kilo is affordable for what it offers. However, as the name somewhat reveals, you also pay per kilo!" We charge 30 ekkies (street slang for euros, red .) per kilo, have nice tunes and a karaoke hippo. You knowwwww!!'' Kilo Kilo jokes on its website."

You will find Kilo Kilo on the Schouwburgplein. Here in the heart of the city centre you will find brands such as Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren and Levi's. Kilo Kilo is no stranger to Rotterdam, the Kilo Kilo Sale previously made a successful visit to OASE and to the Pool Café at Weelde.

So take a very large bag with you, rush to the Schouwburgplein and maybe you will find that hidden gem!

Rejoes

REJOES is a vintage store of no less than 600 square metres with carefully selected second-hand clothing. The store is located on the corner of the Oude Binnenweg. Take the escalator up here and enter a true vintage paradise.

There are racks full of clothing, where you will undoubtedly find unique vintage gems. Think of dresses in various styles, party tops, casual sportswear, skirts and much more, priced between ten and thirty euros. There are also various bags, caps and other accessories throughout the store.

Are you tired from all the shopping? Then plop down on one of the couches. At the very back of the store you will find a number of fitting rooms with plenty of mirrors to view your finds before purchasing.

Dearhunter

Dearhunter is located on Eendrachtsweg, in the middle of the bustling Witte de Withkwartier and just outside the centre. If I'm looking for a unique vintage item, I know this is the place to be. Whether it concerns a beautiful dress, nice (sports) jacket or special accessories, they have it at Dearhunter.

Don't expect thrift store prices, because at Dearhunter the prices are slightly higher. But, they are really items that you will enjoy for a long time. I call it an investment for your wardrobe! So are you looking for a striking new item for your wardrobe? Then you've come to the right place at Dearhunter!

Sweet Rebels

Last, but not least, we arrive at Sweet Rebels on Witte de Withstraat. It's a bit hidden in a corner next to the Supermercado.

At Sweet Rebels they have many beautiful second-hand clothing items, but also vintage designer items. They do not work with trends here, but approach vintage from the perspective of a fashion stylist and want to take the best from fashion history and integrate it into contemporary fashion. They believe that size, gender or current style should never limit how you dress.

In their store you will find a wide selection of regularly updated and beautiful vintage items, as well as a carefully curated collection of designer clothing. All garments are selected for style, quality and comfort. They are washed, ironed and repaired where necessary, and each item has its own personality and history. They are unique and cannot be found anywhere else.
