One of the districts you visit with the Rotterdam Street Art Route is of course the Afrikaanderwijk. This is the perfect place to view special works of art that adorn the walls of Rotterdam buildings. Here you will find murals by Telmo Miel (NL), Smug (AUS), Nina Valkhoff (NL), Super A (NL), Dodici (IT), Danny Rumbl (NL), Woes (US), Didier Jaba Mathieu (SG). ), Said Kinos (NL), Dourone (ES), Murmure (FR) and Helen Proctor (AUS).
As the name suggests, this area is located in the heart of the city, with Central Station as the impressive start of your walking route. There are also numerous murals here, with a big favourite on the Kruiskade of Winne, painted by Judith de Leeuw. With the Central District adjacent to the centre, this is one of the most vibrant parts of the city.
