Opzoomer Mee, Nationaal Park Rotterdam and Groen010 join forces and organize this new, largest green festival of the year for Rotterdammers who want more greenery in the street and city and want to contribute to this in an ecologically responsible way. All this at an iconic Rotterdam location: in the former subtropical swimming paradise Tropicana, or: BlueCity.

The festival will open at 13:15. After that, a packed program will be ready for the visitors. There will be a market where more than 25 green initiatives and hobby plant growers will present themselves. In addition, you can listen to a lecture by photographer Marlonneke Willemsen about her series Invisible Threat and to Joni Reijven, head of biodiversity of the municipality of Rotterdam.

Numerous green parties from Rotterdam are participating, such as: IVN, Groei&Bloei, Cool Down City, VELT, the Food Garden, Marvy Green, Wormenkwekerij010, the Rotterdam Flora Working Group and Gore Tengels.

There is an excursion to the Overtuin food forest, you can join a wild picking walk or a city plant treasure hunt and under the guidance of the City Nursery De Kas you can harvest seeds from faded plants in the outdoor area.
