The surfing feeling returns to Rotterdam Centre! On Saturday 10 May, RiF010 will once again be transformed into the spot for the second edition of Rotterdam Surf Open. Expect a sunny day full of surfing competitions, live music, delicious food and a big dose of good vibes - completely free to visit.
The Rotterdam Surf Open is not just any surfing competition. For the first time, it is officially part of the Dutch Surf Championship. Shortboarders have a chance to win a wildcard for the first round, and longboarders can even qualify directly for the final.
Whether you are a seasoned local or are still practicing your first moves: everyone can register. The competition is organized in collaboration with the Holland Surfing Association, with a professional jury and live commentary by none other than Erik Ringelberg.
Not on a board yourself? No worries. There is plenty to do along the quay. Check out the action up close, grab a drink, enjoy live music and try a ride on the mechanical surf simulator. Also fun for spectators and urban adventurers who want to experience something new.
