Ready for the free market on King's Day 2024 in Rotterdam? If there's one thing King's Day is known for (besides Willem's birthday), it's selling stuff. The city is full of streets covered with toys, accessories, clothes, crockery and more.
But, besides it being fun to browse around, you can of course also choose to sell your belongings yourself.
You have two different options: request your own stall or place a rug in the designated places. Both great, but depending on your needs!
There is the option to request your own stall. This year this is possible in the Wijkpark Oude Westen. Would you like to register for this? You can do this with your DidiD via this website.
The other option is to put down your own rug. You do not have to register with the municipality for this; so easy! Also ideal if you don't want to stay too long, because you want to go to some fun parties, for example.
There are several places in the center where you can leave your clothes. The locations are listed below!
Countless people will wander around these places and give the items on your rugs a new home! Would you like to put down a rug outside the centre? That's allowed! There are no special places designated for this, so be sure to roll out your rug and empty your attic.
Will we see you in #RotterdamCentrum on King's Day?!
