Every year the city centre transforms into a winter paradise, thanks to the beautiful lights and decorations in the shopping streets. You can spot a mega-large Christmas tree in the Koopgoot and admire another one at the top of the Koopgoot. This year the large illuminated 'gift' has made way for the the Rotterdam marble track. The beautiful arches full of mood lighting in the Koopgoot once again decorate the shopping area, just like the rows of large Christmas baubles on both sides.
A nice addition this year is the giant Christmas card! With this card you can take the nicest selfies, which you can then have printed at HEMA.
Once you leave the Koopgoot, you walk along the Lijnbaan where you will see three kilometers of garlands with mood lighting and mega-large illuminated letters. A beautiful sight during the dark hours!
