Rotterdam has gained a new hotspot with the opening of the Heart Melt Bar! This trendy cocktail bar promises to melt hearts with its unique concept.
The bar distinguishes itself by its extensive cocktail menu and tropical bites, both perfectly matched. Beneath the bar is a "lab" where unique ingredients for the cocktails and bites are developed. For example, Chef Manny creates delicious bites such as bakkeljauw balls, cassava fries and pulled beef jerk.
Both the bites and cocktails are enriched with aphrodisiacs such as honey, basil and ginger. These aphrodisiac ingredients excite guests' senses and add an extra dimension to the experience.
For those who like to catch a wave: since the spring of 2024, at RiF010 you can wave surf, bodyboard, raft and surf kayak; all on the perfect waves. Prefer something quieter? Then rent a canoe or sup. It's even possible to take diving lessons, thanks to the crystal-clear water purified in the RiF010 basin.
The nice thing about the RiF010 basin is that the waves can be controlled. That's a little different from surfing in the sea. Different types of waves are generated so that every level feels at home.
After surfing, of course you want to reminisce while enjoying a drink and snack. In the moat you will therefore find a wooden beach house, containing the reception, surf shop and a surf bar. Take a seat on the covered terrace and enjoy the surfing (and falling) people in the water.
You probably already know Teds from their beautiful location on the roof of the Schieblock. They recently opened their second Rotterdam branch, this time in the middle of the centre on the Lijnbaan. You can get here from Rotterdam Central Station or Beurs in no time!

We wrote about it before: a gigantic Nike flagship store is coming to Rotterdam Centre! De Lijnbaan will be the new home of sportswear, sneakers and accessories from this well-known American brand.
You may have already spotted the construction fences, because for some time now they have been building a mega-large Nike Store on the Lijnbaan, next to the John Reed Fitness. Not only will the store be completely renovated on the inside, the outside will also get a sleek look.
Not much is known about the new Nike Store in Rotterdam at the moment, but it will certainly be impressive! At this central location in the centre of Rotterdam you can immediately walk into the sports paradise for the latest collections of clothing and shoes.
